License keys & HWID

License keys decide who can run a script. A key can expire, be limited to a number of devices and be revoked at any time.

Create keys

Open Keys

Pick the script, then choose Generate keys.

Set the rules

Choose how many keys, how long they last and an optional note, such as the buyer’s name or order ID.

Share them

Copy the keys and send them to buyers, or let the Discord bot or a key flow hand them out.

Device lock (HWID)

The first time a key runs, LuaProtect stores a fingerprint of that device. Runs from another device are refused, which stops one key being shared around.

• Players can reset their own HWID from the Discord key panel, within your cooldown.
• You can reset any key from the Keys page or with POST /v1/keys/:id/reset-hwid.

Limits per plan

• Free: 100 keys.
• Pro: 10,000 keys.
• Enterprise: unlimited keys.

Player whitelists are retired: Give access with keys or key flows instead. To block someone, ban them on the Punishments page.
